Nurse Kaycee Here

Hi everyone, welcome to my blog! Nurse Kaycee here. This blog has been in the works for years and I’m so happy that it’s finally here. I want to take some time to introduce myself. I’ve been a registered nurse since 2016.

My current area of expertise is care management, or as some call it, case management. I’ve been an RN care manager for over four years combined. 

I also have experience in the following: 

* Pediatric medical-surgical floor nursing

* Pediatric stable ventilator

* Outpatient care management

* Ambulatory family medicine 

I have a passion for care management and education.

In my spare time I enjoy traveling and spending time with my family and friends. I love to try new restaurants/foods, especially coffee. My hobbies include curling up with a good fiction fantasy or leisurely writing in my journal before I go to bed. 

I started this blog in hopes of gaining more experience for my freelance health writing business-Kaycee RN Writes-and to share my personal and professional experience in nursing. I want this blog to be a place where nurses can come together to encourage, uplift, and teach each other. We can all learn from each other’s experiences, and I want to know more about yours. 

The most important thing about this blog is that I want to encourage any nurse to go for it. 

Whatever your IT is.

Because I have been there and am doing that.

I also want to share my experience while I tackle this enormous project of starting a freelance writing business. I’m hoping to capture most of this journey while blogging and I’d like to share my experiences on social media as well.
